I’m Shaima — a storyteller, a mother, and a soul-led creator who believes that the most powerful content doesn’t just catch the eye… it reaches the heart.
Before founding Shaima Collective, I created content in the beauty and wellness space, sharing honest reviews of skincare and body products on my blog and YouTube channel. I built a small but loyal community that trusted my voice because it came from truth, not performance. Through those early collaborations, I learned how to connect through storytelling, how to speak to emotions, and how to guide someone gently toward a 'yes' that feels good.
Then I became a mother.
And everything softened.
I paused my work to be fully present with my growing family, spending five deeply transformative years immersed in motherhood. That time reshaped me most profoundly; it slowed me down, stretched me, and taught me to listen to myself in ways I never had before.
Eventually, I felt the nudge to build again. I stepped into entrepreneurship and started a company in the health and disability sector. It was service-based, heart-centred, and purposeful. I built it from the ground up, and when the time came, I sold it and let it go with pride. That chapter taught me how to lead with clarity, create systems that serve, and build businesses that make people feel seen.
Since then, I’ve said yes to so much more.
I’ve consulted for heart-led businesses. I’ve self-published a book. I’ve met parts of myself I’d long forgotten through deep personal healing. I’ve stretched into growth, not just professionally, but spiritually, emotionally, and soulfully.
Now, I’ve returned to the creative work I’ve always loved, but this time, I’m not just making content.
I’m holding space. I’m telling stories. I’m helping people rise.
